Mahindra S101 – The S101 is a long-awaited crossover from Mahindra. This car should hit the road anytime between July and December. Mahindra has competitively priced this car at INR 6 lakh to eight lakh. Once launched, it will add to the competition in the compact crossover segment, which is ruled by cars like Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport. Things will get hotter as other upcoming cars like Hyundai Creta and Maruti S-Cross will vie with each other for market space. Although Mahindra has a compact SUV in the form of Quanto, it is more on the utilitarian side. Now, the maker will offer a typical crossover, which is slated to be one of the best cars from Mahindra. The S101 will be less than four meters in length to avail excise duty cuts. Even though the exact dimensions of the car are not known, it could be the smallest car from the maker.
Mahindra Quanto AMT – Ever since Maruti successfully introduced the AMT technology in Celerio, rival makers have included the feature in their new cars. A few of the existing models were also face-lifted to include the new technology. Mahindra is all set to offer the AMT technology in its compact SUV, Quanto. Carrying a price tag ranging between 6 and 6.4 lakh rupees, this variant will feature an all-new five-speed automatic transmission. The AMT technology is expected to make driving a more pleasurable experience, and it is expected to increase the fuel efficiency of the vehicle as well. The car will also have reduced emission levels, making it a more environment-friendly choice.
Mahindra Verito EV – Always a pioneer when it comes to green cars, Mahindra is getting the electric variant of Verito ready for launch. According to reports, the new car will be launched in July and it will carry a price tag of INR eight to nine lakh. More details of the same are awaited.
